Blessings to Eileen Brennan

“I love meanies, and this goes back to Capt. Lewis in ‘Private Benjamin,”’ Brennan said in a 1988 interview with The Associated Press. “You know why? Because they have no sense of humor. People who are mean or unkind or rigid think—think about it—cannot laugh at themselves. If we can’t laugh at ourselves and the human condition, we’re going to be mean.” – The Mankato Free Press, Thursday August 1st, 2013

Thank you Eileen Brennan for all of the contributions and positive changes you made in our lives. I certainly enjoyed and appreciated your talent. Thank you for reminding us that kindness is really the key. Additionally, thank you for reminding me, myself, why I enjoy picking on “meanies”. They are easy marks, as they fail to understand the subtle nuances of their actions. A heart filled with joy and love is more receptive to the clues that bound around us.
